DIY DataRecovery DiskPatch v1.0 - A low level utility for MBR, partition table and boot sector recovery. Recover data that was lost due to deleted and lost partitions, corrupt boot sectors, partition tables and a corrupt MBRs by repairing those structures. Prevent data loss by backing up important system structures as the MBR, partition tables or the LDM database (XP/2000). DIY DataRecovery DiskPatch is a DOS based data recovery tool. Since the program runs from DOS and is small enough to fit on a diskette, you can even use it when your PC fails to boot. Also perform additional tasks as cloning your disk, scan for read errors and low level formatting.

CHK-Mate will examine the contents of the CHK files and determine if the contents are known filetypes, such as MS-Word files or GIF files. When contents are recognized (for example, as a Word document), the CHK files are copied to a new file with the correct file extension (Filexxxx.CHK -> Filexxxx.DOC). The new file extension allows you to easily open the file using the associated program.

iRecover is a Windows based, read-only data recovery utility. iRecover does not repair the damaged volume or disk. Instead it analyzes the damaged source and rebuilds a "virtual file system" in memory. From this virtual file system you can copy data to an intact drive. iRecover offers FAT, FAT32 and NTFS file system support, and supports all current Microsoft Windows versions (including 2000 and XP, server and workstation).
