Code Co-op is the server-less version control system (VCS) for web and software developers wanting to manage and protect their source code. It enables you to keep track of all the changes made to your web or software development projects. It stands apart from the other VCSs by providing a robust version control solution for individuals and teams at a price that any one can afford. If you are part of a development team, you will not need a central server. Code Co-op runs effectively under a LAN configuration, but it also joins developers residing in different locations using only Email. With Code Co-op each developer has a secure copy of the project database on their computer. This feature provides the added flexibility to view and modify code from any location. Code Co-op will sync up the next time a connection is made to Email or LAN. Code Co-op efficiently manages both text and binary files. The core functionality includes check-in, check-out, merge, restore, visual differencing and more. The UI is intuitive and the functionality is flexible to fit today's evolving development environments. Code Co-op integrates with Borland Delphi and C++ Builder, versions 5 and 6, and applications like Microsoft Visual Studio, IBM Visual Age, and Allaire ColdFusion that use the Microsoft SCC API. It supports all text-based languages including but not limited to HTML, C/C++, Java, Delphi and binary files like .doc, .jpg, .xls. |
