Monitor your network traffic, display frames in brief, hex and detail windows, create reports, filter protocols, create link filters, and more. Filter based on protocol or link masks. Currently decodes 27 protocols, with 802.11 wireless planned. Set capture options by setting a buffer size to fill before halting, capture until halted, capture a pre-selected number of frames and set the frame size to capture. - In the Statistics menu select the statistics that interest you: Link, Host and Protocol, Statistics. - You can create HTML files viewable in a web browser using the Reports. Reports can be generated from the following: Protocol Statistics, Host Statistics, Brief Window, Hex Window, Detail Window. - Use the Filter options screen to filter based on protocol or link masks. You can filter based on specific bits. We are excited about the new sophistication and ease of use provided in our filtering scheme. - Use the Transmit Options screen to send frames to your network from a buffer or file and set options such as Data and Intra-frame Pacing. - Available Windows are Brief, Detail and Hex Mode as shown below, as well as Link Histograph by packets and bytes, Traffic Profile shows broadcast, multicast and directed frames, Link Utilization showing current, peak, and average packets and bytes. |
